Delete your account
You can delete your SailR account at any time, from inside the app.
How to delete it
- Open SailR and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
You can also do it on the web from your profile page.
What gets deleted
Your profile and sign-in details, your phone number, every chat and message, your saved questions and favourites, your study plans, your practice and revision progress, and your notification settings. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
What we keep, and why
Oral sittings you logged stay in the shared question bank, with your name and account link removed. Other candidates rely on them to prepare, so we keep the questions and drop the connection to you.
A scrambled record that your free trial was used. We keep a one-way scrambled form of your email address and phone number — not the address or number themselves, and it cannot be turned back into them. It exists only so the one-per-person free trial can't be claimed repeatedly by deleting and re-registering. We delete it after 12 months.
If you have a paid subscription
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your SailR account does not cancel that subscription — only the store can. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first, or you will keep being charged. Subscriptions bought on our website are cancelled with the account.
Can't get into the app?
If you've uninstalled SailR or can't sign in, email support@sailr.in from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
