Named on SailR
If you are named on SailR
Ask us to correct or remove information about you. You do not need a SailR account.
Who this is for
SailR publishes pages about questions candidates were asked in their oral examinations, including pages organised by the name of the surveyor who examined them. That information comes from what candidates remember and write down after their own exams. It does not come from you, and we did not ask your permission.
If you are named anywhere on SailR, this page is how you reach us. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be a SailR user.
What you can ask for
- To see what we hold about you, and how we use it
- A correction, where something is wrong, incomplete or out of date
- A reply of your own, published on the page, unedited
- Your name removed, so the page carries only initials
- The page taken out of search engines and AI systems, so it cannot be found by searching your name
- The page removed entirely
How to ask
Write to grievance@sailr.in. Tell us which page you mean and what you would like us to do. A link to the page is the most useful thing you can send.
We may ask you to confirm who you are, so that nobody can make a request in your name. We will not use those details for anything else.
What happens next
We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. Where we correct something, we will note on the page that it was corrected at the request of the person named.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee at gac.gov.in within 30 days, and, on personal data, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
